HOW TO BOOK
Please give us a call or email us to check availability on your required dates and request a Booking Form; we can add you to a reserve list whilst we await your booking form (reserve listings are for a maximum of 48 hours). If you would like to guarantee a place now, call the office and we can take your deposit over the phone and fill in a temporary booking form for you.

DETOX RETREATS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

Each booking will only be secured by the receipt of a completed signed Booking Form together with the relevant non-refundable deposit.

Deposits are to be paid over the phone, by credit or debit card, there is a charge for using Credit cards (see below) and we do not accept American Express.

Upon receipt of your completed Booking Form from all members of the party and Deposits the lead customer will be sent a Booking Confirmation letter either by post or email, this letter and this letter only is the confirmation of your booking, until you have received this, no booking can be guaranteed.

Simply Healing Retreats cannot be held responsible for any travel costs, booked before the Booking has been acknowledged in writing.

The balance of your retreat including any early arrival or extra night supplements must be received at least seven days before your expected date of arrival.

To qualify for the pre-booked price, additional treatments/treatment bundles/mini packages must be booked and paid for at the same time as your retreat balance.

Any additional treatments booked after this or during your stay, will be charged at full price at the end of your stay.

Any payments that are to be made at the end of your stay, for products, additional treatments or bundles booked after arrival can only be paid for by cash or credit/debit card. Once booked additional bundles/treatments cannot be cancelled or changed.

Please note that check-out balances cannot be taken from the card details supplied over the telephone, banking guidelines state that if the cardholder is present, payment must be taken from the card using the usual chip and pin facilities.

If the cost of the retreat is being paid by someone else on the guest’s behalf and they will also be paying for any extra treatments, or products. The cardholder must give us prior written/emailed permission to use the card details for such payments as well as details of any limits on the amount.

In cases where this permission has not been given, on arrival the guest will be required to supply Reception with a valid debit or credit card details. These details will be held by Simply Healing Retreats until all outstanding balances have been settled. This includes any products, supplements and additional treatments. As well as any breakages or damages as outlined in these terms and conditions.

Credit Cards
All credit card transactions are liable to a 3% charge. Credit card transactions on cards registered outside the EU are subject to a 4% charge.

Late Bookings
If booking within 7 days of the date of arrival the full amount including early arrival/extra night supplements is due, please call the office with your credit/debit card details to reserve a space.

You will need to have access to an email account in order that the relevant Booking Forms and Booking Acknowledgment Letters can be exchanged electronically.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
You must make Simply Healing Retreats aware at the time of booking any pre-existing medical conditions, medication/treatment, allergies and intolerances. As well as any surgeries that have been undertaken in the past 6 months as it may not be possible for you to undertake all of the treatments included in your chosen package due to contra-indications.

Once Simply Healing Retreats has received your Booking Form and if the various therapists or management feel it necessary we will then look at alternative treatment options and tailor your retreat to reflect this.

Failure to notify Simply Healing Retreats on your Booking Form will result in you not being able to undertake any treatments that may have possible contra-indications and no alternative treatments will be offered. In some cases where Simply Healing Retreats feel that un-disclosed health issues before arrival are too severe we reserve the right to ask the client to leave and a 50% refund of the total paid will be refunded.

In the event that a Client fails to inform Simply Healing Retreats of any pre-existing medical conditions or regular medication you are taking either at the time of Booking, upon arrival or in the Confidential Health Questionnaire, Simply Healing Retreats cannot not be held responsible for any health issues/complications that arise from possible contra-indications.

In some circumstances and if the management or therapists feel it is necessary we may require a letter from your GP/Specialist stating that they are happy for you to go ahead with this kind of detox programme. We will automatically expect a GP’s letter if you have any blood sugar issues.

If you are taking medication of any kind it is advised that you consult your doctor before arrival.

We will not accept pregnant women on any detox programme.

Arrival/Departure
If the client chooses to arrive late or leave before the end of the retreat, Simply Healing Retreats will not refund any unused night’s accommodation and treatments cannot be re-arranged or refunded.

Simply Healing Retreats reserve the right to change arrival times and days as their discretion if necessary. If this occurs clients will be notified at minimum of 10 days before the expected date arrival.

Any Client wishing to make changes to the scheduled day/time of arrival/departure can only do so by prior arrangement at the time of Booking, timetables are as follows:-

Arrival
9.30-10.00 am Thursday Morning.

If you require a pre-arranged early arrival extra night on any of our 5 day plans, check in time is from 5.30 – 6.30 pm Wednesday Night.

Departure
The retreat finishes on Monday afternoon, guests can leave straight after lunch if they wish or utilise the reception rooms until 4pm. However bedrooms must be vacated by 11am and luggage can be left in the office or taken to your car.

Whilst we try to ensure any Monday treatments are always in the morning; we ask that all guests stay till after lunch.

If booking additional treatments/bundles please be aware that these may be scheduled for Monday afternoon, unless we are notified in advance that a lunchtime departure is required. Failure to notify us will result in any treatments scheduled being charged to the client.

The retreat finishes on Tuesday afternoon, guests can leave straight after lunch if they wish or utilise the reception rooms until 3pm. However bedrooms must be vacated by 11 am and luggage can be left in the office or taken to your car.

Tuesday treatments are where possible in the morning; however we ask that all guests stay until after lunch. If booking additional treatments/bundles please be aware that these may be scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, unless we are notified in advance that a lunchtime departure is required.

The retreat finishes on Friday afternoon, guests can leave straight after lunch if they wish or utilise the reception rooms until 3pm. However bedrooms must be vacated by 11 am and luggage can be left in the office or taken to your car.

Friday treatments are where possible in the morning; however we ask that all guests stay until after lunch. If booking additional treatments/bundles please be aware that these may be scheduled for Friday afternoon, unless we are notified in advance that a lunchtime departure is required.

Weekend Juice Detox

Arrival
4.30 and 5.30pm on Friday Afternoon.

In cases where 2 extra colonics have been booked Arrival must be between 2.00pm and 2.30pm as colonics will be scheduled from 3pm. However your room may not be available for occupation until 4.30 pm.

Departure
The retreat finishes on Sunday afternoon at 5.30 pm if an earlier departure is required please notify us in writing at least 7 days before arrival.

Cancellations

Client Cancellations
Once we have received your booking, any cancellation will result in the loss of the deposit amount paid.

In some circumstances, and only with more than seven days notice, although the deposit will not be refunded Simply Healing Retreats may carry it over to the next available detox weekend. Only one alternative date will be offered. This is however, entirely at the discretion of the management and will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Cancellations received 4-7 days before the commencement of the Booking will result in the basic package price being charged to the client.

Cancellations received with 3 days or less notice will result in the total amount including the basic package price together with any additional treatments additional bundles and early arrival supplements being payable by the client.

Cancellation by Simply Healing Retreats
Simply Healing Retreats reserves the right to cancel your booking and you may be charged up to 50% of the final booking amount if you fail to fulfil the following:-

Failure to provide us with a completed signed Booking Form by no later than five days before the commencement of your booking.

Failure to pay the balance owing, including any early arrival/extra night supplements in full no later than seven days before the commencement of your booking.

Failure to provide us where requested, with a letter from your GP/Specialist stating that they are aware that you are undertaking a detox and are happy for you to do so.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances if cancellation by Simply Healing Retreats is necessary we will endeavour to give the client as much notice as possible and will not be held liable for any travel costs already incurred by the client.

In the event of cancellation by Simply Healing the option will be given to transfer to an alternative date or a full refund will be given.

Inappropriate Behaviour and Conduct
Any client that is found to be:-

- Smoking anywhere within the building (please also read Breakages, Damages and Spillage)
- Consuming or concealing food or alcohol in their bedroom
- Taking or smoking illegal substances
- Actively ignoring safety/health guidelines
- Undertaking ‘homestyle’ DIY detox supplements or treatments of any kind
- Abusing or Misusing of any property of Simply Healing Retreats

will be asked to leave with immediate effect, and no refund on package costs will be offered and all booked additional treatments/bundles will still be charged.

Any client asked to leave for any of the above reasons will no longer be welcome at Simply Healing Retreats.

Alcohol and Illegal Substances
Any client that appears to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances upon arrival, or at any time during their stay will be asked to leave with immediate effect and no refunds will be offered.

Rapid withdrawal from alcohol can be extremely dangerous and in some cases life threatening. Simply Healing Retreats is not a rehab facility, and we do not have the medical staff on hand to deal with possible withdrawal issues. If you feel you have an alcohol issue please discuss it with us before Booking.

Unforeseen Circumstances/Adverse Weather Conditions
In the unfortunate event that Simply Healing Retreats is forced to cancel any programmed detox retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, we will endeavour to give the client as much prior notice as possible.

Client cancellations due to Adverse Weather conditions will be considered on an individual basis. And will be determined by the weather conditions local to Simply Healing Retreats. Cancellation costs as detailed above will be incurred if the Management of Simply Healing Retreats feel that it is possible for a client to attend.

In the event of cancellation by Simply Healing Retreats due to adverse weather conditions in the local area the option will be given to transfer to an alternative date or a full refund will be given.

In the case of either of the above situations Simply Healing Retreats cannot be held responsible for any expenditure already incurred by the client for travel to or from Simply Healing Retreats in the event of unforeseen cancellation. We highly recommend that guests take out the appropriate Insurance to cover them for travel costs in the event of cancellation.

In the event of cancellation by Simply Healing Retreats you may either transfer your booking to the next available date, or we will reimburse the full amount paid. Only one alternative date will be offered, once this is booked, the normal terms and conditions will apply.

Package Changes
Simply Healing Retreats reserves the right to change any of the inclusive treatments in any package at any given time without prior notice.

If for any reason a treatment has to be changed during your stay owing to staff illness, you will be offered a suitable alternative treatment.

Inclusive Package Treatments
Inclusive treatments (please click here to view current list) will not be changed to other treatments, unless by prior arrangement ie., medical reasons alert us to possible contra-indications. In this case a suitable alternative treatment will be arranged by Simply Healing Retreats.

Breakages, Damage and Spillage
Any breakages or damage to any fixtures or fittings on the premises will be charged to the client with immediate effect.

Under no circumstances must Hair Dye, Bleach or Tanning products be used. Any colouring found on Tiling, Carpets, Linens or any other fitments will be charged for.

Any Spillages that result in staining on carpets, bedding or furnishings will be charged for. Where possible, Simply Healing Retreats will attempt to get the staining removed. However if this is deemed impossible by our cleaning contractors the Client will be liable for the costs incurred by Simply Healing in replacing the item like for like.

Breakages, Damage, Spillages/Stains discovered after check out will be notified in writing and charged to the credit/debit card used for your last payment.

Any client found to be smoking in the house, will be liable in terms with current legislation to pay a £200.00 fine. On top of this a charge of £75.00 for the cost of deep cleaning the area the client was smoking. If a client is found smoking in any bedroom the client will also be charged £100.00 per day for any time that the bedroom is unable to be used.
